Palden is a very attentive young man who will deliver the highest levelof service whilst trekking, mountain biking or just having a wonder around town. He adapts well to change of plans and shows flexibility. My last trip I cycled in the Haa valley and trekked part of the Druk path from Paro to Timphu. He made sure that I always had enough water and food galore (tasty, varied and lots of it). The pace of the day was set by me who was rather slow but he was very patience. We saw lots of Take care I recently traveled in Bhutan with my family. Pelden Dorji was our tour guide and we were pleased with every aspect of his service. His knowledge of Bhutan and Buddhism is outstanding. We wanted to do more hiking than is typical with a cultural tour and we had other unusual requests. Pelden was able to custom tailor our trip to meet our wishes and even provided opportunities which we had not considered possible. He is also a wonderful person and we felt he had become part of our family. USA Khuzozampo, After our first trip to Bhutan in 1997, this spring we decided to spend our holidays again in this beautiful country. While 13 years ago we had just visited the Western part of Bhutan this time we ‘explored’ the country all the way through from West to East. Palden organized our trip very well and his proposals perfectly matched with our ideas and wishes. He was very helpful when we had to check our visa at the Indian Embassy in Thimphu and a special thanks to him for the hotel upgrade in the beautiful valley of Phobjika! We very much enjoyed our journey and what made the trip so special were for sure our two guides Kezang and Nado who took care of us under every aspect during the whole trip. On the rough roads in the mountain area Nado was a very careful driver and we always felt safe with him. Both of them helped us to get acquainted with the Bhutanese culture, the traditions and habits. We learned lots about Buddhism as well as about the daily life in Bhutan. We especially remember the tasty momo’s at the house of Kezang’s mother (momo namesame shimbé !) and very much appreciated the invitation at lunch by Nado’s sister. We hope that they remember our Dzongkha lessons with the same pleasure as we do !
